  • Why do people say laughter is the best medicine? Laughter is one of the best ways to reduce stress and relieve tension. When you laugh, your body releases endorphins, hormones that act as natural painkillers and help alleviate stress. Endorphins also boost your energy levels and improve your overall mood. Also, laughing helps relax your muscles and release physical tension that can build up in the body from being stressed out or anxious for too long.
