The Big Competition

Last Saturday, our school organised a big competition. I am a member of the school sports club, and I had been training for a long time for this day. Our coach chose me as the captain of the team.

Our main opponent was another school. We were very nervous, but our friends came to support us. In the middle of the game, our team started to score more points. I decided to take a risk and attack. Luckily, we managed to beat the other team and became the champions!

After the competition, we went to a restaurant to eat out and have fun. Later, there was a concert on stage. A music group played some folk music, and everyone joined in and started singing.

It was a wonderful day, and I will remember it for a long time.

The English Teacher – Film Review

The English Teacher is a short drama film about an English teacher and one of his students. The teacher lives alone and feels lonely after losing his wife. His everyday life has become quiet and unhappy.

One day, one of his students writes him a letter and asks for English lessons because he has an important exam in a week. The teacher accepts and begins teaching him. As they spend more time together, the teacher becomes happier and starts enjoying his life again. The student gives him a reason to communicate with someone and feel useful.

Later, the student sends him a video and reveals a shocking secret. He explains that he accidentally hit the teacher’s wife with his car. He was frightened, left the place, and did not help her. He then offers the teacher money to say sorry. The teacher is deeply shocked and goes to the student’s home, but he has already left.

The film is about loneliness, guilt, regret, and the effect people can have on each other’s lives. I liked the film because it was emotional, surprising, and had an unexpected ending.

A good teacher does more than teach a subject; a good teacher inspires change.

I agree with the statement, “A good teacher does more than teach a subject; a good teacher inspires change.”

I believe a good teacher should not only teach lessons but also support and encourage students. In my experience, some teachers have helped me when I had difficulties and encouraged me not to give up. Their support made me feel more confident and motivated me to do better. I think students may forget some lessons, but they will remember teachers who were kind, helpful, and believed in them.

That is why I believe a good teacher can make a positive difference in a student’s life through support, encouragement, and understanding.
